On the injured list

In case you’ve been wondering what’s up with my training, the answer is: nothing!  My Achilles tendon (the one that started hurting at mile 177) is slowly getting better, but it’s still a bit aggravated, so I’ve been taking ibuprofen and staying off it as much as possible.  Driving to work, and so forth.  I’d like to say it’s been frustrating but it’s actually been wonderful!  Suddenly I have lots of spare time to do things like weaving.  It’s nice to take a break from training.

The ankle is, thankfully, improving rapidly now that I’m no longer aggravating it.  If it continues improving, I think I’ll bike to work on Friday.
