What do you think?

I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the front page I just finished implementing, so I thought about it some more and made a mockup in Photoshop of something I think I like a little better. But I am curious what others think. Here’s a link to the comp. And here, in case you’ve forgotten, is a link to the original homepage redesign. (That page has some issues with file size, so it may load a little slowly – got to work on that.)

Which do you like better? Why?

I like the new one a lot better. I like the simpler design, and not having the area of white background in the center.

Also, I can’t tell for sure, but it looks like the more complex design would require you to scroll in a lot of browsers. The new design looks like it all fits neatly into a single frame. It also allows the (batik?) design of the background to show more, which I think unifies the design.

It is a nice splash page.
