It turned out that the problem was with the wire alignment in the dobby box, which is now fixed, so the loom runs just fine. Haven’t had much time for weaving on it, though – most of my time and focus has been on jobhunting.
Which is going well. I’ve had my resume out for seven days and have four interviews lined up – hopefully a sign that I will soon have another offer. It would be nice to avoid unemployment, though of course it would be nice to have additional time for weaving.
I have dyed the blues and purples for the doubleweave project, and will try to dye the orange and fuchsia yarns tonight. Not sure if I’ll get to it though since I have interviews until 7:30 pm (!).
