Yes!!!

Today we pinned up the hem, cut and shaped the ribbon, and did various other housekeeping things.  But we took a passel of photos while we were working on the hem:

The dress is very elegant, the coat positively regal! You look fantastic. Tell Mike that he’s going to have to step up with serious haberdashery to compete.

Absolutely gorgeous. I love how the lace and pearls turned out, and the fit from the back is perfect, both the dress and the coat.

Oh, you DO look like a princess!!! That coat is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen – so rich looking and the cut is perfect. I love the way it hangs in the back – so graceful. People are going to gasp in awe when you walk down the isle at the wedding.

Congratulations Tien, you’ve outdone yourself, all the struggles have been worth it. The cut of the coat is spectacular, really flattering. And the dress is regal. Good luck with the Convergence entry.

So wonderful! I can’t believe how effortless it looks — it fits so well there’s no hint of the tremendous labor that has gone into it, if you know what I mean. I bet it’s very satisfying to see it looking so wonderful.

Tien, I read your posts on the weaving digest Yahoo group, and enjoy your insights and appreciate you sharing your knowledge! I usually just “lurk” there, but wanted to say that your dress and coat are absolutely lovely, and I wish you every happiness on your upcoming marriage!
