Much excitement!

I did a mockup in Photoshop, transforming the straight diagonal lines into curves, and I really, really like the results!

I think the next step is more design sketches, trying to come up with a pleasing curved line, and then designing it in Illustrator/sewing it up!

Off to dinner!

    I agree that the curved lines are more attractive – after all, people have curves, not such sharp angles. The curved shapes of the garment will more gracefully echo the body’s curves. I like the lefthand version, personally…

    I like the curve on the back, but I’d leave the front as it is, without the curve. There’s already a lot going on in the front. To me, adding the curve there is distracting.
