Curved muslin, mocked up in Photoshop

I decided to try mocking up the curved muslin in the actual fabric, using Photoshop.  This is not 100% accurate, of course, but it gives me a more-or-less idea of where the colors will lie and how they will interact.

And I like it, I like it!

This is MUCH more “in tune” with my original vision.  I think it’ll be gorgeous.

Lisa asked if there was any way to get on my chocolates list.  It’s too late for this year, but yes, I’m still doing an annual “Chocolates for Charities” drive.  The last few years I’ve “sponsored” a friend doing the Breast Cancer 3-day walk.  The deal is, you donate $X or more (currently $75) to her Breast Cancer walk, you get a box of chocolates.  It’s too late for this year since the walk is already over, but I’ll announce it next year.

Today I run up to San Francisco to get 99 lbs of chocolate!  I can’t wait to get my hands on all that proto-yumminess.  Four kinds of dark chocolate (66 lbs), two kinds of milk chocolate (13.2 lbs), and one kind of white chocolate (19.8 lbs).  Tasty, tasty!

I have been following this coat since the beginning and I think this is the best mock-up version yet. Go with it….go with it….go with it 🙂

It definatly looks better with the real fabric mocked in. Can’t wait to see the finished project!

And I’ve got to say that even though I don’t do chocolate (brought up wrong), every year I drool over your descriptions and the pictures that will follow. Almost makes me wish I liked it (but definitly don’t need the extra calories!) Have fun with your production line.
