Finished the pattern!

I finished the pattern today.  17 pattern pieces!  A few of them are mirror-image duplicates, but not many.  Here’s a pic of the finished pattern pieces:

And here is a closeup of one of them.  For the lining, I included notes on my adjustments.

I am debating what fabric to use for the lining, both in the mockup and the final garment.  Silk, of course, for the final fabric; and I’m thinking about using low-water immersion dyeing techniques to dye it a rich, variegated purple and wine red, in which case I may do the mockup in silk as well, to get practice.  (Dharma Trading Co sells a lightweight silk habotai for $3.89/yd, so this is not as expensive as you might imagine.)  Of course that means the seams will need to be sewn with silk thread, but fortunately I have lots left over from my wedding dress.

Enough blathering!  Off to knit some blanks!
