More chocolates for the SJ Quilt Museum fundraiser!

The first batch of chocolates is gone (wow, they went fast!), but if you missed them, I’m making a special batch for the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles’ fundraising appeal. (More details on the appeal here: http://www.sjquiltmuseum.org/give.html .)

This batch will be fudges, marshmallows, and (if I have time) caramels, and will come out in late May/early June. As usual, they will be gourmet treats, worthy of an artisan chocolatier – using only the best ingredients. (For those who don’t read my blog regularly, you can read about one year’s chocolate-making process here, and see some of last year’s chocolates here. The candies in this special batch will be different, though!)

Here is a partial list of flavors that will be included:

  • Lemon lavender white chocolate fudge
  • Maple walnut fudge
  • Mocha cinnamon fudge
  • Coconut tequila lime fudge (a perennial favorite)
  • Chocolate walnut fudge
  • Chocolate ginger fudge
  • Chocolate cherry almond fudge
  • “Plain” chocolate fudge
  • Raspberry marshmallows
  • Cinnamon marshmallows
  • Mint marshmallows (perhaps with chocolate!)

In addition, if I have time, I may add the following chocolate-dipped caramel flavors:

  • vanilla-jasmine-honey caramels
  • chai caramels
  • ginger-lime-chile caramels with peanuts
  • English toffee

No guarantees on the caramels or toffee, but I’m hoping I can fit them in!

In total there will be 14-15 flavors, packed into a half-pound box. They’ll be sent as a thank-you to the first 50 people (in the continental U.S.)  who donate $150 or more to the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles – donation link here. Please enter code “QUILTING” in the Notes/Comments section so we know to send you chocolates!

For more information on the museum, or the emergency fundraising appeal, please go to http://www.sjquiltmuseum.org/give.html .

Thanks, and please support the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles!
