Cat-iversary #3!

Facebook reminded me today (how could I possibly have forgotten?) that today is our three-year cat-iversary! Yes, it’s been exactly three years since we adopted a pair of adorable kittens, who grew into our beautiful Fritz and mischievous Tigress.

Here they are on Adoption Day:

The baby Fritz!

I can’t resist a few more baby pictures. They were such cute kittens!

A hungry Fritz

Tigress the Olympic athlete!

And then, of course, they grew into equally active teenagers:

Boot laces are the Best Things Ever!

Fritz the Incredible Flying Kitten!

Alas, they did have their flaws. We had to counsel Fritz about the dangers of shoe-sniffing:

Fritz sniffing shoes

which led to binge drinking:

Fritz, passed out in the cat tree

and petty theft:

Fritz stealing a sock

But on the whole, they were happy, beautiful, delightfully mischievous kittens and young cats.

And how are they now? King and queen of the household, of course.

Tigress, all grown up

But still entertaining:

Fritz, blissfully undignified
Fritz, the cat without dignity
Tigress, playing fetch

It’s been a wonderful three years with Fritz and Tigress, and we look forward to many more!

We lost of 10 year old siamese some time ago… he was dead on my studio floor.. I am definitely in the mood for another cat… nothing like them to keep one endlessly entertained
Was at the Denver Art Museum yesterday… wonderful show on Women Abstract Impressionist painters. Amazing works!

Great photos of your “cat” family. Thanks for sharing them. They remind me of my last 2 cats, born a week apart, brought home by our 2 grown (not living with us)daughters who thought we needed them. 15 years later I had to put them both down when I moved (Bill had passed away by then) back to Colorado as the place I moving to didn’t allow pets. Was a very sad day for me. Their ashes are scattered in their favorite places in the yard of the place I was living at the time.
