I make a batch of chocolates once a year, around Thanksgiving. Usually 30 pounds or more. I send them to friends, family, and my AIDS Lifecycle sponsors. I've been doing this for twenty plus years now, and my work compares favorably with that of the best artisan chocolatiers.

A friend of mine has a foot fetish, so I made him a pair of Valrhona chocolate feet for Christmas...and boy, did he turn bright red!
