Heirloom Knitting

Just got a copy of Heirloom Knitting by Sharon Miller.  FANTASTIC!  I have only glanced through it but it seems like the lace book of my dreams – instructions for knitting and designing complex Shetland lace shawls.  It is not appropriate for travel shawl-ing (too complex and requires too much attention), but I plan to look through it thoroughly when I return.

Meanwhile, if you have an interest in lace, and particularly lace design and advanced lace patterns, buy this book.  You will not regret it.

Can’t wait to read through it more…although it may have to be upon my return.
