And man, is it cool. Red-and-gold corset with black trim, black silk brocade skirt overlaid by red silk brocade “petals” outlined in glittering gold ruffles. It’s quite something. Wish I could post pix, but it’s all top-secret until the actual day. (Actually if you know where to look, you might be able to find a photo…Mike put it up in his Flickr stream. And that’s all the hints I’m gonna give. 🙂 )
Next on the hit parade will be the white Victorian thingamabob – hoping I can finish it by Friday evening. I have to sew up a muslin to test the concept, then sew the thing itself – also need to finish the black tutu-underskirt that goes with the Red Dress Day outfit.
I need to finish by Friday night because I’m spending the weekend cleaning up, doing a ride or two, and then getting ready for CHOCOLATE!!
