Weaving like a demon, no time to post a lengthy blog entry, but just wanted to show these two pix:
The pix don’t do the pattern justice, as the camera flash washed out the rich glow of the silk – but all I have time for at the moment. Thus far I’ve woven about 50″, 30″ more and I’ll have that shawl for my high school reunion!

Tien–Beautiful work. I got to this site via colourmart yarn page where there’s a picture of this shawl. I’ve been wanting to use this yarn also in a networked twill–do you think a set of 38-40 epi would give a good drapey effect for a shawl and still be firm enough to not be sleasy?
